Lambros
Hello, I installed iAtkos v2 onto a computer which already had Vista. So now I have a dual boot. After installing iAtkos I could get into Leopard well. When I booted into Vista I got a problem with winload.exe (problem 0cx0000006 or something like that). Anyway, so I put in the Vista disk and did Repair. Restarted my computer and now it said their was a problem with the partition and the HCL or something like that. I dont remember if it was HCL, but I think it started with an "H" . So, I loaded the Vista disk and repaired, but this didnt fix anything. Then, I entered command prompt and did the following (If I remember correctly): diskpart select disk 0 select parition 1 (Vista) active exit bootrec.exe /fixmbr bootrec.exe /fixboot I may have repaired again before restarting, but im not sure. So, I restarted my computer and went straight into Vista without problems. However, the Darwin bootloader didnt appear. Now my problem is that I cannot change the boot to boot from the Leopard partition as it doesnt have a drive letter. I think this is because it is a Leopard partition . So, I dont know what to do, as I cannot get into the Leopard partition. I also dont think I can change the Leopard partition to active as I may get the partition error again. Anyone had this problem before? Does anyone know how I can fix it? Thanks in advance, Lambros. ok i just put in the vista disk and opened command prompt. i made the leopard disk active and when i rebooted my computer i got a blank screen which said: HFS + Partition error what should i do? I have tried reinstalling leopard with no success. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/140862-how-do-i-change-the-boot/ Share on other sites
