Hi,

I am very busy with making my first hackintosh system. But i come far, but not far enough. I hope somebody can help me!

My system:

Asus P5Q-E

Intel Core2duo E8400 3Ghz

Asus EAH 3650 Silent Magic, 512 MB

500 GB Maxtor SATA 7200 rpm, 32 MB cache HD

4 GB Kingston ValueRam DDR2 800 Mhz

I have done the motherboard BIOS update to 1406 (the official one by Asus). And done the BIOS properties to AHCI.

Kalyway 10.5.2 will not go into the installation, iDeneb 10.5.5 will do the installation, but after he will boot on the HD and than stop at the grey screen with the apple.

I've tried several options like different kernels and different bios properties.

Sorry for my english but i just want a working hackintosh system.

Many thanks for the one who can help me!

Greetings,

Marc ;)

I came across the same issue and I had to patch the Motherboard BIOS with using the the BIOS Bios Updater Utility re-installed iDeneb 10.5.6 and everything worked fine except the onboard network card I purchased a Realtek R8139 NIC and everything is working perfectly.

If you use iDeneb 10.5.6 you have HD Audio drivers (ALC1200)

Here's the Page for bios files, download and place on a USB thumbdrive:
