iATKOS 5i is the only boot disc that works on my Pioneer DVR 111D, the others I tried would show checksum error.

I had Vista & XP dualboot pre-installed already, and made a clean pri partition in FAT32 as instructed, erase it with Disk Utility in iATKOS 5i and selected it as installation destination.

I selected OHR, NVKush, Nvidia Update, 7300 GT 256MB strings, Speedstep a, and NTFS-3G patch (this doesn't work well i'll explain). Booted into osx no problem.

I downloaded 87_Mac10.4_v1309.zip for Realtek wireless for my P5k Deluxe Wifi and internet works (although I don't like its interface)

As for sound, I installed Taruga AD1988B rev3 driver and it works well.

Problem with NTFS partitions in osx though, is finder doesn't work - i couldn't search for files/folders located in NTFS partitions.

And even though I can delete and add files, the file I intend to delete would not go into trash (to be untrashed as safety measure) - anyone know how to disinstall the NTFS patch and new work around??

ok now back to multiboot, what I did is restored Vista partition with Acronis recovery boot disc and mark it as primary and active paritition again. Then I downloaded a file "chain0" and put it under activie partition and added line C:\chain0="Mac OS X86" into boot.ini and hola hola it works!!!!!! as simple as that.

;Warning: Boot.ini is used on Windows XP and earlier operating systems.

;Warning: Use BCDEDIT.exe to modify Windows Vista boot options.

[boot loader]

timeout=10

default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS

[operating systems]

multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /NOEXECUTE=OPTIN /FASTDETECT

C:\chain0="Mac OS X86"

Well for others not using Acronics, I am assuming all you need to do is mark windows partition as active partition again and do the above changes.

Now I need to solve the NTFS problem.... any tips??
