pdaibes
Hi, I'm using Kalyway 10.5.2 on HP Compaq C720 notebook, with Intel instructions (chipset GL960 North and ICH8m South), HD SATA and kernel 9.2 sleep. Oh, the video is intel x3100. The installation (10.5.2) occurred normally, but I needed update to 10.5.5, so I updated using the complete updates for newbies, and after finished the installation and reboot, my system is in a screen with Apple's logo. I'm not getting start the system. I tried iDened v1.3 10.5.5 and the problem is the same. Anybody can help me? What should I do? Thanks. Lanceomni
When you startup it should ask you to press any key to enter boot options. Enter the boot flag -v to startup in verbose mode. We should be able to tell where your system is hanging. mmmoooiii
Do you have any 'external' device connected to it like Firewire or any USB device. Try removing that and see what happens. pdaibes
No, there aren't any external device connected. Every time that I start in verbose mode, appears a message like that after dmos stating: Dec 12 16:30:58 localhost mDNSResponder mDNSResponder-176.2 (Aug 15 2008 14:58:54)[43]: starting Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/140698-kalyway-1052-update-1055/#findComment-996772 Share on other sites
pdaibes
Hi, I boot with -v -f -x and the system started normally on safe mode. So, what can I do to start normally, without safe mode?
