Ervine3 Posted December 12, 2008 Share Posted December 12, 2008 Hi all, =) I have been looking at this osx 86 project for awhile now with great interest but i haven't got a solid hold on everything involved. So i figure there might be someone on here who can help me. 1. I guess this is the best question, will my hardware even work? I found that my processor (intel core 2duo T9300 2.5ghz) is compatible but what else do i need to check? Here is what i have Graphics Card :Nvidia 8400 GS Motherboard: Quanta 30DS Chipset: Intel PM965 Three gigabytes of DDR2 Ram BIOS TYPE: Phoenix Network card: INtel Wirless WIFI link 4965 AGN I also just have the normal built-in touch pad and keyboard. 2. OK, so say that works then I would like to get Leopard (10.5) on my laptop and boot it form a usb. The problem is that my system is a 32 bit system "i think" (vista 32bit for sure) and leopard to my understanding is 64 bit. So does this mean i cannot do this? 3. Wether or not i can use leopard i would still like to boot some type of osx from my usb device. Tiger maybe? If anyone could tell me the best distro of tiger or leopard (whichever would be better for me) to burn to my DVD+R that would be greatly appriciated.
