royler_g
I need a program that lets me access my OSX harddrive (a separate IDE HD, HFS+) from inside XP (I have a dual boot system). I want to be able to browse/change my OS X files from XP. Is there such a program? I've tried a few, for example MacDrive 6, but it couldn't "see" the drive. Please help with advice! /royler_g
nrvnqsr
I use a program called "MacDisk". The unregistered version is limited to 1mb worth of transfers to and from per use, but its more than enough to edit kexts and plists.
royler_g
Doesn't work for me I'm afraid. That program thinks my OSX HD is a "disk formatted for the PC" and when I try to make it search it for Mac files it returns an error message... Other options? RyanThaDude29
I use MacDisk 6. Works great, can read & write to my HFS+ drive without problems.
royler_g
That is very strange. I can't understand why MacDisk 7 can't recognise my drive.. MacDisk 7 says "The selected disk holds a MS-DOS volume" (it doesn't even show the drive in the list until I press "show disks formatted for PC"). That disk was formatted with the OSX Disk Tool when installing OSX..
