Hi All,

I have a new laptop will like to have Mac OS X on it like my old Acer Aspire in which the installation was a piece of cake.

Is a Sony Vaio AW Series, model VGN-AW11S/B and this are the specs:

Processor: Intel® Core™2 Duo processor P8400 (2.26 GHz)

Memory: 4096 Memory DDR2-SDRAM (800 Mhz) (2 x 2GB / max. 4 GB with 2 x 2 GB) Cache memory (L2 - KB) 3072

Hard drive (GB): 400

Graphics chipset: NVIDIA® GEFORCE® 9600M GT

Graphics memory: 512 MB DEDICATED VIDEO MEMORY

PC card slots: 1x Type II PCMCIA: Card Bus compatible

Bluetooth

Wireless LAN: Integrated Wireless LAN IEEE 802.11a/b/g

Integrated CCD Camera Motion Eye

I have installed Mac OS X with no problem on the installation; using Kalyway 10.5.2 and Leo4All 10.5.5; but always get the same error when booting the first time:

"config[54]: InterfaceNamer: No Network stack object"

or something like that related with the network cards

Currently the version installed is Kalyway 10.5.2 cause my sound drivers are working with this version: tested using Speech on the intallation DVD ... So I'll like to keep this version if possible.

Any help will be very appreciated and if someone have installed this on a Vaio AW please let me know what was the method used.

Thanks in advanced

As per help I got in the IRC I tried the following:

Start with boot options like: -x -v -F and set the maxmen=2048 -> same result

Deselected the network devices via "ifconfig en0 down" -> The system can't find the device, same result

Any help will be very appriciated

SOLVED!!!!

I removed the NVinject drivers (via single mode) and now I can boot into Mac OS X 10.5.5

Work:

Bluethooth, Integrated WebCam, Fingerprint reader (appears on the System Profiler)

Don't work:

Inter WiFi, Marvell Yukon Ethernet, NVidia GeForce 9600M GT (The same as the last MacBook Pro), Realtek Audio

I'm looking for the right drivers right now... if someone have these devices any help will be appreciated :D

Hi - I'm triple booting my VAIO AW and was wondering if you had some driver links in your arsenal. So far I'm running Win 7 & Ubuntu ... I have a partition for OS X all set, now I'm doing the driver search.

Are you still running OS X on your AW?

Thanks in advance -
