tank6b
Hi All, I have a new laptop will like to have Mac OS X on it like my old Acer Aspire in which the installation was a piece of cake. Is a Sony Vaio AW Series, model VGN-AW11S/B and this are the specs: Processor: Intel® Core™2 Duo processor P8400 (2.26 GHz) Memory: 4096 Memory DDR2-SDRAM (800 Mhz) (2 x 2GB / max. 4 GB with 2 x 2 GB) Cache memory (L2 - KB) 3072 Hard drive (GB): 400 Graphics chipset: NVIDIA® GEFORCE® 9600M GT Graphics memory: 512 MB DEDICATED VIDEO MEMORY PC card slots: 1x Type II PCMCIA: Card Bus compatible Bluetooth Wireless LAN: Integrated Wireless LAN IEEE 802.11a/b/g Integrated CCD Camera Motion Eye I have installed Mac OS X with no problem on the installation; using Kalyway 10.5.2 and Leo4All 10.5.5; but always get the same error when booting the first time: "config[54]: InterfaceNamer: No Network stack object" or something like that related with the network cards Currently the version installed is Kalyway 10.5.2 cause my sound drivers are working with this version: tested using Speech on the intallation DVD ... So I'll like to keep this version if possible. Any help will be very appreciated and if someone have installed this on a Vaio AW please let me know what was the method used. unhot
Hi - I'm triple booting my VAIO AW and was wondering if you had some driver links in your arsenal. So far I'm running Win 7 & Ubuntu ... I have a partition for OS X all set, now I'm doing the driver search. Are you still running OS X on your AW? Thanks in advance - GC SOLVED!!!!
