Full info easy to find using Google!.......see here..... Have you got the latest BIOS installed......

What error messages do you see booting from the Install DVD with -v maxmem=2048 cpus=1......?

I have the latest version of Bios for my computer what do you mean -v maxmem=2048 cpus=1?

When you boot from the OS X Install DVD press F8 quickly, and at the boot: prompt type (without quotes)

"-v maxmem=2048 cpus=1"

These boot flags give you verbose listing of the boot steps onscreen (-v); set RAM access to 2GB (maxmem=2048); set number of active cores on CPU (cpus=1)
