ok so I downloaded the iAtkos 10.5.5 image. I burned it, and when i load it in the drive, i get the apple logo, and installation loads up as normal. Then when I get the screen where it says click the button to continue, my mouse doesn't work. Ive tried 3 different mice. 1 was a wireless USB, 1 was a wired USB and one was a PS/2 mouse. I don't know what to do. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

You should initially use a wired USB mouse and wired USB keyboard to avoid installation problems.......

that's the thing though. I did try a wired USB mouse and the same thing happened

What messages do you get when you boot up with -v and do you keep on going back to a Welcome screen......?

Well I tried it with -v and by just hitting a key to install. I get the same thing on both. It gets to the screen that says click the button to continue. But I can't click anything cuz my kb and mouse stop responding. Also keep in mind this is right before installation. I never get to install it.

What are your system details? MOBO brand/model, chipset, CPU etc......

nope. Everything seems normal until I get to that screen. And I'm on my iPhone so I'm not typing out the specs but my computer is the emachines T5212. Google that snd u should get the specs

Your system has shared RAM for integrated video chipset....so CI/QE for that will likely be a problem.....it has a Pentium® D Processor 805 so you could try booting with -v cpus=1.....but you also need to check the BIOS settings for AHCI mode as an option......if present it should be enabled......
