uberandreman
I installed iDeneb on my comp, and I go to start it up and it wont get past the load screen with the grey apple logo and the spinning loading circle (not the rainbow wheel of death). Why wont it start???? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/140250-ok-guess-what-surprise-i-have-a-problem/ Share on other sites
Lanceomni
Try using the -v boot flag on start up (Before osx starts up it should give you the option to enter . This will put you in verbose mode and replace the graphics with useful information. Let us know where it stops at and also what hardware you installed it on (Motherboard & Graphics). I didn't build the comp infortunatley, but I do know it has an Nvidia 7800GT and a 2Ghtz core 2 duo, with 2 gigs of RAM and a 320 Gig Wester Digital hardrive. I don't know the motherboard, it is whatever dell put in it. thedecline
What hardware are you using? Go with a stronger distro like Jas or iAtkos and make sure you install the right chipset drivers.
