Yes, the newb searched before and after -- i know there are serious compatibility issues. I've read the Dell 1390 is a viable alternative. At feebay pricing, looks like a $13 upgrade. What are my concerns in doing this software wise? I know the hardware. C~) Is a Core Duo w/ i945 chipset not capable of using a Vanilla kernel? D~) I also had to boot with CPUS="1". Anything I can do to fix this on a Core Duo? E~) Is there a kernel that'll let me sleeeeeep?
