ahovis
After a bit of work (and the Acer One Forum) I have an almost perfect Mac Netbook. It dual boots XP and OS X with all the latest updates. I have 1.5 gig RAM, 160 gig HDD, sound working, hyperthreading working, speedstep working, and wireless (Dell 1390 card) working. All that remains is the big problem that it will not sleep. Force it results in a crash. Anyone working on this or has any ideas if it can be fixed?? With all the activity over on the Acer One Forum still no solution :-( Thread on what has been done is here: http://www.aspireoneuser.com/forum/viewtop...it=sleep#p62960 . Wonder if there was a fund set up to take donations there would be more interest in getting this to work? Seems to be lots of OSX on Acer Ones and I would think significant $ could be raised if someone knows how to set up a donation site and control the cash. Anyone think this could work? Except for sleep the one is the perfect miniMac to me!
