danny_marti
I have been trying to setup or install OSx86 since a long time. Still no luck. my system specs are Intel E6320 core2duo processor Intel D965RY 2x1gig DDR 800mhz ram ASUS SATA DVD writer 160Gig seagate SATA HDD When ever i try to boot or install Kalyway 10.5.2 dvd its struck at Waiting on <dict ID="0"><key>IOProviderClass</key><string ID="1">IOResources</string><key>IOResourceMatch</key><string ID="2">boot-uuid-media</string></dict> Then I assumed that kalyway wasn't recognising my media and hence i found from Windows XP's device manager that I have 2820:8086, Intel 8201H (IHC8) 4 Port SATA IDE Contr 2825:8086, Intel 8201H (IHC8) 2 Port SATA IDE Contr However I downloaded the IOATAFamily.kext and edited the info.plist inside AppleIntelPIIXATA.kext. I saw that my controller was already listed. But still I wasn't able to install/boot form DVD. When I change the BIOS mode to AHCI and when i tried to boot from the dvd it said com.apple.boot.plist was not found So I am forced to use IDE mode in the BIOS. Please help me regarding this issue... I would be really happy if i get MAC working on my machine... I even tried distros like iATKOS 5i, 2 also ToH, also iDeneb, all struck at the same place.
