Winterwind
So, I've made a hackintosh based on Intel D945GCL2 Motherboard, and I really love it. Now I have A retail version of Leopard. It can boot up whithout any cd's or flash sticks. By the way, it's not comfortable to work in serious programms (photoshop, flash, final cut, etc.) It's possible to work, but I want to have more powerful system. Could you help me to choose best hardware? Please, tell me about any problems that I can have('cause I'm new in hackintosh world), about any ways to solve them. Also, there is some wishes: -Booting up whithout any cd's and other stuff (like my D945GCLF2-based system) -Vanilla Kernel -Asus Motherboard -Intel Core 2 Duo or Core 2 Quad Processor (Working whith Vanilla) -Working Soundcard (FULLY working, not only output) -NVidia 7XXX or 8XXX Graphics Card -Wireless (integrated card is better) So, I need something like that^^ Please, tell me things that you've tried only. I need 100% working system) Thank you! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/140061-the-best-configuration-for-retail-mac-os-x-leopard/ Share on other sites
agrajag
The most fully working system I know uses the Gigabyte P35-DS3L or EP35-DS3L motherboards. It is true that they are a bit older now but I have not seen a real advantage to the newer P45 boards (and the X58 boards are way experimental at the moment). Look at the upcoming weaksauce12 guide (due out in a few days).
