I have a Late 2008 MBP unibody mac and I left the Leopard CD in the UK while i'm holidaying in Australia. The boot camp drivers off the Apple website don't include drivers for the new MBP - you must have the original leopard DVD that comes with the late 2008 mbp to get the correct drivers!

Since getting the disc isn't an option, would anyone be willing to extract and upload them to something like megaupload.com and sending to me? Or if anyone can point me in the right direction? I've been on the phone with applecare and they said the only "official" location of the drivers is on the 10.5.5 leopard cd, but it's available through "unofficial" channels!

Pretty unbelievable. Still, can anyone find the time to help me out?

Thankyou very much!

Hello hat-rack,

looking for updated bootcamp drivers I found dmg images for OS X 10.5.4 Retail DVD with the full bootcamp 2.1 and an OS X 10.5.5 Install DVD MBP late 2008, but the last one don't include a windows part. So I had to search for another version and find a new build of snow leopard 10.6 with bootcamp 3.0 beta, but it does not include newer bootcamp drivers than bootcamp 2.1.

I could extract the 2.1 version from the OS X 10.5.4 Retail DVD and upload it but I see your post is from the beginning of december.

Perhaps could you extract the complete bootcamp part from you MBP late 2008 Install DVD.

The bootcamp 2.1 AppleKeyboardInstaller.exe have a mistake, because with a Apple G5 Bluetooth keyboard it swaps the TAB-key with the num block minus-key. The former version 2.0.2.4 works normally, but there should be a new version 2.1.1.1.

Hope you understand my wish and would like to help me.

Kind regards

Dic Ray
