prko
Hello, I've just installed the Myzar DVD: OS X 10.4.5. The installation was succesful. But OS X doesn't start. My Computer System: Primarily Master: 80GB Seagate Primarily Slave: 80GB Seagate Secondary Master: DVD rewriter Secondary Slave: CD rewriter on PCI slot: Promise TX2000: Raid controller (The Harddisks on thi controller are not accesible during the installing.) I have installed OS X on the Primarily Slave. There were unallocated free space and NTFS partition. I have allocated new partition on free space. There was error. The NTFS partition was also erased. Then I have allocated two partitions. All, what I have installed after that, was succesful. But I select the Secondary slave for booting, there is no response. After the booting with installation DVD, I can see the installed OS X 10.4.5. After the booting with windows XP, I can't see no partition information on primarlily slave drive. How can I solve this problem? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/13992-no-booting-after-installing-os-x86-on-pc/ Share on other sites
powrslave
boot from dvd at the first screen go to the top select disk utility select your slave drive (the one you want to install osx on) format as mac osx journaled is fine) install when you reboot boot off the partition either by hitting a key which gives you drive selection or modifying your first drive you want to boot Under xp the filesystem will just be blank for that drive but it will see it..don't even look at it under xp Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/13992-no-booting-after-installing-os-x86-on-pc/#findComment-89014 Share on other sites
