I've got an opportunity to swap a MDD G4 for some x86 hardware .. figured I might as well get started toward i7 rather than another Core 2 setup. I'm usually a stickler for Intel. Searching the forum is a tad challenging with regards to 'i7' as a search key... though using google:site works, it's a bit hacky.
