babalula Posted December 5, 2008 Share Posted December 5, 2008 Salve a tutti. Ho comprato una ASUS nvidia geforce 8800 GT con 256 MB di ram. Ho la versione Leo4all v4 e però come ho inserito la scheda, MacOSX dopo la mela di caricamento non mi fa apparire nessuna immagine. Su wiki ho visto che la scheda funziona al 100% con NVinstaller, c'è scritto "Yes, with Patch", che significa with patch? Esiste una qualche guida che mi aiuti a installare tale scheda? Come faccio ad ora ad installare i kext dato che non riesco a vedere niente? So che devo installare NvInstaller 3.1, però non potendo accedere al sistema, come faccio? babalula Posted December 5, 2008 Author Share Posted December 5, 2008 Scusa, sono già riuscito a entrare nel sistema (con la flag -x non faceva niente, stessi risultati). Comunque, da dentro il sistema ho installato NvInstaller 3.1 con conseguenza crash totale... Non so, avendo un AMD, e kernel XNU 9.4.0, il sistema mi ha riconosciuto la nvidia geforce 8800 GT, però non sono abilitati nè quartz extreme nè 256MB di vram (risultano solo 32). Non mi riesce trovare una guida esplicativa, sapete aiutarmi? Ho provato con EFIstudio, ma non so cosa farci... Poi un'altra domanda, come faccio a bootare il kernel di backup? Non mi riesce capire, ne trovare una spiegazione. Altra cosa, è possibile che se installo Nvidia driver da dvd di leo4all, la scheda vada a una risoluzione maggiore di quella supportata dal mio monitor, e per questo vedevo tutto nero? babalula Posted December 6, 2008 Author Share Posted December 6, 2008 La situazione nella quale sono adesso è la seguente: con EFIstudio sono riuscito a far riconoscere 256MB di vram. Pero quartz extreme è sempre disabilitato e la risoluzione è ferma su 1024x768. Cosa devo fare per abilitare QE? devo installare NVinstaller? Ti consiglio di fare questo tentativo: togli gli injectors ed usare solo EFI Studio. ciao!
