jonlimle Posted December 5, 2008 Share Posted December 5, 2008 hello i had jas 10.4.8 installed and it ran fine now i updated to iatkos 5i and when i boot up it says you need to restart you computer hold the power button for several seconds or press the reset button so i do and it always says that and i tried putting in the -s command and it freezes up after saying os x version not set so i wiped my hard drive and reinstalled the jaS 10.4.8 from the same installation disk i used the first time and now i get the same message and the messages are in several languages i belive i read something else online about it being called the "kernel panic multi-language message" or something along those lines here are my computers specs thanks ahead of time for any help Toshiba Satellite A15-S129 intel celeron 2.4GHz (it supports sse2) 512MB ddr ram (2 sticks of 256mb) intel 82852 GM chipset intel 82852 graphics card please any help would be great Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/139609-i-have-a-problem-with-my-iatkos-5i-installation/ Share on other sites More sharing options...

chefakito Posted December 6, 2008 Share Posted December 6, 2008 I had the same issue on my s10 ideapad during my first boot- it completely cleared up when I used the -f flag to force reload all the kexts.
