I know how to install mac os x and such. but i cant figure out why 10.5.5 doesnt boot. it boots when i go to boot from the DVD and press F8 and rd=disk0s2 it goes to the desktop. but when i try to boot from the hard drive without the DVD it doesnt boot. it just freezes. I do -v and it doesnt panic. it just freezes when it says dsmos: Starting... I have tried iDeneb AND iATKOS they both do the same thing. I cant figure it out. Can someone PLEASE help with this? davidcmc Posted December 4, 2008 Share Posted December 4, 2008 Have u installed the VGA correctly? Either with some injector (NVDarwin, NVinject etc) or EFI String. My 10.5.5 Leopard installation doesn't boot if VGA is not installed correctly too.
