I have a wonderful install, a great display (short of resolution, which I know is a known problem), and all things are hunky-dory short of sound working. Yes I know my Onboard Soundmax shouldnt work, nor does it. Nor should my SB Live! 5.1 card work. I do however have a Telex H-551 USB Sound Card hooked up and that doesn't work. In System Profiler it sees it off of the USB connection, but in the sound options in System Prefs it is not a choice. Has anyone see this device work or any other Telex devices, because it is supposedly supported by OS 10.4.x from what I can find in a Google Search? Is there a kext to load, and if so how? Here is my system Spec:

-ASUS P5DS2-X(click here for mobo specs)

-Pentium D 805 (Dual Core 2.66ghz)

-1.5gb of DDR2 - 533mhz Ram

-ATI X600 - 256mb Memory (Working wonderfully thanks to Optimus driver)

-Soundblaster Live 5.1 (doesn't work but know it won't)

-Onboard SoundMax Sound Card (doesn't work but know it won't)

-3-Maxtor 80gb HDD (1 SATA and 2 IDE)

-Lite-On Dual Layer 16x DVD+/-RW

-Chipset:SiS 656/SiS 965L

-Intel 82540EM PCI Gb LAN controller

-Telex H-551 USB Sound Card (Manufacutrer's Site)

if you need any more information, let me know.

Thanks!
