setix
Hi, First, sorry for my poor english. Last year I bought this Thinkpad: T61, T7100(1.8GHz), 1GB RAM, 120GB 5400rpm HD, 15.4in 1280x800 LCD, Intel X3100, CDRW/DVDRW, Intel 802.11abg wireless, Modem, 1Gb Ethernet, UltraNav, Secure chip, Fingerprint reader. A week ago I decided to install Mac Os X Leopard. I red (here and other forums) that Kalyway Leopard, version 10.5.2 is good for thinkpads and I tryed it. Yes! It works! Of course wireless not works. Audio too. But this is not problem for me. Real problem is that Leo is too slow. Can u believe it? Slower than my XP! I open my pics in windows XP faster than in Mac's Leopard. Now I think that the problem is in my hard disk (HD is HITACHI). Leo dosn't like it. Maybe comunication between Leo and HD is not good. I don't know. But HD works very slow. Ok, that is. If anyone has a decision, оr any suggestion, please tell me. Thak u. Best regards!
