Thmnx very much :* So right after the install you notice this problem? I have had three instances where I experienced extremely slow internet access. These issues were due to me not using my noggn 1. I had problems for some reason with the router not renewing my DHCP lease. I reset my router and fixed the problem. 2. I have a router that allows you to extremely fine tune traffic (QoS). These rules apply to MAC addresses and I failed to realize that I had plugged my network cable into the second ethernet port on my mobo so basically my router wasn't friendly with this new MAC address 3. Software updates will downloading in the background, hogging my bandwidth. I am sure there is a plethora of problems and hopefully fixes out there. What I would do is fill everyone in on all the other details. Your full system specs how your connected to the internet, any drivers you may have installed, any apps you were running at the same time and so on. Likewise open up Activity Monitor/Network Tab and see if you notice anything unusual Good Luck Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/139216-internet-problem/#findComment-986714 Share on other sites
