supereloyo
First of all, I'd like to thank you all, because i found here all the information I needed to install my hackintosh. Now I have dealed with the install things, the graphic card is working, the error 35 is fixed and the time machine appears to be working fine, I'd like to fix the "minor problems". One os these is the sleep mode. I've got a Gigabyte EP35C-DS3R motherboard, with a E8400@3Ghz (although Leopard says that it is a 2,67 Ghz CPU), 4 Gb Ram DDR2 800 Mhz, and Gigabyte 9500 GT graphic card. I have installed the iDeneb 10.5.5 version of Leopard, with the vanilla 9.5 kernel. The point is that I cannot make the system go to sleep. If i click the Apple icon and then tell the computer to go to sleep, it will simply shut down, and the only thing I can do is turn it on again with the power button. If I set it to sleep from the system configuration after any minutes, the screen turns off, but the computer doesn't go to sleep. Since I don't really like to ask a lot in forums, I've been searching for ages about this topic, with no results at all. So, if you could help me, I would be really grateful. BTW....sorry for my English, I'm Spanish... Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/139193-sleep-problem-in-gigabyte-ep35-ds3r/ Share on other sites
jlangli
I'm having the exact same issue with sleep on my EP35-DS4. Sleep used to work with 10.5.4 (though restart and shutdown had issues). Since upgrading to 10.5.6, shutdown and restart work, but sleep no longer does. Wish I could be of more help.
