Jahya
I'm having a bit of trouble understanding which combinations of driver packages and fixes to include in an ideneb 10.5.5 install. I can pass install just fine but I either have one of two errors. The first is just an infinite reboot loop. The other is a hang at: "cluster io buffer headers" line. I have looked up solutions, and checking ACPI fix was one of them. Did not work. Hardware: Intel Q6600 C2Q MSI 650i nForce MB (Silicon Image 3531 Controller) 8GB DDR2 Evga 8800gts I've selected the following in the install: Default Vanilla Kernel 9.5 I think. NVInject for 320mb cards ACPI-FIX nforce network drivers (ndeth?) I leave the rest blank. It seems random to me. I can install these settings twice.. sometimes i get a reboot loop, sometimes it hangs on "cluster io buffer headers" line. Any help would be appreciated. You have a 650i nForce MOBO and so cannot use the default Vanilla 9.5.1 kernel......choose a non -vanilla kernel e.g. Stage XNU 9.4.0, ToH 9.2.0 Sleep, Voodoo 9.5.0..... For LAN use eno nForceLAN kext.....see my Pre-Series 7 Nforce thread.....
