komar_kzy
Hi guys, 1. I'm looking for good hackintoshable notebook. Rather cheap. Just to play around with. Currently I have Fujitsu-Siemens Esprimo V5505 (E5250 - 1,5Ghz, i965, x3100). Managed to run on vanilla kernel, but pittyfully WiFi (intel 3945) does not work, audio also. Is there any cheap configuration that shuld run smoothly just after install ? eg. using kalyway ? 2. I'm still having trouble to install vanilla on my E6300/asus p5w deluxe ? Im wondering is it possible to run vanilla with E6300 ? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/138949-best-cheap-notebook-for-leo/ Share on other sites
MPC561
MSI Wind or better Asus EEE 1000H. 10 inch display 1024x600 resolution. Everything running except microfon and Ethernet (but wireless draft N is working.) There is also a special Ubuntu distribution which is installable via SD Card. Although it is a ATOM CPU Leo is running smoothly. Wonderfull piece for playing around. Runs more then 4h with one charge. You can use MSIWindosx disti or iDeneb 10.5.5. For installation and postinstallation I suggest you to take a look in this Wiki: http://ipis-osx.wikidot.com/forum/start There you can find Instructions concerning how to get the sound running and installation of power saving tools. Actually on my one is everything running except microphone and Ethernet (But WLAN draft N runs well). Sleep is running too. -- With Kind regards, MPC561 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/138949-best-cheap-notebook-for-leo/#findComment-983404 Share on other sites
