PainWarlock Posted November 30, 2008 Share Posted November 30, 2008 I have an idea just a thought but it could be a nice little project depends i need to do more research making a debian distro using the quartz window manager and the quartz-gl but not a ported version either i need to use some of the darwin and mac osx leopard librarys including the debian librarys and tieing them together tightly i have done a tiny bit of research about macports and other projects i know macports might not be able to help this project what this project will bring a stable release of the osx operating system including the debian librarys tieing them together now i know there could be some kernel panics and issues in a non stable first release bcus of the debian librarys needing the linux kernel to work i will need help with this i would need programmars but this is just an idea tell me what you think Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/138812-d-osx-ian-the-ability-the-creativity-and-mobility/ Share on other sites More sharing options...

But take a look at gnuStep and Etoile project, you have to look in that direction. Good luck!
