Damien_Blood
Hey guys, I'm new to the scene (obviously, =P) and I'm tryin' to install OSX on my laptop. Been havin' a problem though and can't find a solution so far. Was wondering if anyone could help me out, I'd greatly appreciate it. When I boot from the disk, I type -v followed by enter and the diagnostics show as they should but then at a certain point it reaches one section I guess and shows this: SAM Multimedia: READ or Write failed, sense key=0x03, ASC=0x11-0x00 Afterwards it just repeats it over and over. I rebooted twice and tried -x which booted, from what I collected, safe mode. I just started a new IT job but unfortunately only had training in Microsoft and thanks to my luck the entire site is filled with Mac's...yep. I'm in no way trying to rush anyone just wanted to emphasize its importance, lol. I've heard they're not that much different but I was hoping to get more familiarized with it. Alright, I won't waste anymore of your time. Thanks in advance to whoever responds.
