Dell Inspiron 530 Max Memory Leopard 10.5.5 will handle

I have a Inspiron running Leopard 10.5.5 with 4 GIG of DDR2 Ram 800Mhz do any of you know the Max memory I can use?

I know the mother board maxes out at 8 Gig but was wondering what the max OSX would allow for.

 

I'm running VM Ware using Win XP Pro as well as video rendering and who know what else down the road?
