opendns2008
Hi I have search all over the forums looking for a topic on this and couldnt find one, but I do apologise if this has already been answered somewhere else. I have installed osx using iaktos on a seperate partition of my sony vgn-n31z laptop with xp on the other partition, and they both work great, if the power cable is plugged in, and there lies the problem! I cant boot into osx without the power cable installed but I am able to get into xp. I have found another forum mentioing that it may be a problem caused by intel speed step, but i dont have an option to disable this in the pheonixBios. I have tried adjusting the power schemes to full power and used NHC to set to max power. I was wondering if anyone else can shed some light on the problem for me Thanks in advance for anybodys help and advice Thom Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/138588-intel-core2-duo-sony-laptop-osx-wont-boot-without-power-cable/ Share on other sites
