I just found this forum and I'm really excited to finally get some great info on how to properly build my hackintosh setup. I plan to use Logic Pro 8 with this build and I was wondering what the other users on this forum who also use Logic Pro 8 decided to use when building their hackintosh? In other words, if you're a Logic Pro 8 user, what are your hackintosh system specs? Here are my current PC specs: Just so you know, I also use Intel quad-core, Window's XP, and the soundcard from my Presonus FP10 audio/midi firewire interface. Any tips and suggestions are most welcome and I plan to use this build as a dual boot system for Leopard and XP. Thanks! I bought two WD 640gb/32mb cache "black" drives with 5 year warranties @$89... those se16s are only warrantied for 3 years... scrap the floppy drive.. you'll never use it... get a cheap USB thumb drive I also just bought a gigabyte 8600GT 256 (passive-silent) from xPCgear.com (Newegg sold out just before I went to buy it...) and it was $76 at both stores. Read up on some of the forums here about that mobo...
