oleole101
Hey guys I'm New here and I'm having some trouble installing the iDeneb release of OS X 10.5.5 on my HP-G60-125NR. These are the specifications that matter, Processor Processor AMD Turion X2 mobile processor RM-70 / 2 GHz Multi-Core processor technology Dual-Core 64-bit processor Yes RAM Installed Size 3 GB / 3 GB (max) Storage Hard Drive 250 GB - Serial ATA-150 - 5400 rpm Optical Storage Type DVD?RW (?R DL) / DVD-RAM Video Graphics Processor / Vendor NVIDIA GeForce 8200M G Total Available Graphics Memory 1407 MB Operating System / Software OS Provided Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium Whenever I get to the boot screen it asks if I'd like to boot from the disc and to press any key to continue. When I press a key it then says, "Loading Darwin /x86" and then stops. The disc spins for a while and then stops. And the computer never leaves this screen. Ever. Someone please help me. I prefer leo4all v2. i tried ideneb 5.5 also and the same thing happened. you can hit enter and boot shows up then enter update -v. may or may not work. I finally installed leo4allv2 and updated to 10.5.5 by a method i found on hackint0sh.org. I posted how i did it using their guide. I could not get any of those others to work , not even leo4all v3. and i have intel cpu. tocophonic
Hey folks, I have a problem very similar to the one of "iwannahaveacookie". To make it short: Installation: no problem boot with chain0 method after installation: "boot1: error" boot directly from the HDD where Mac OS was installed on: "boot0: MBR, boot0: done, boot1: error" boot with help of the iDeneb 10.5.5 installation DVD: a lot of "EBIOS read error: Device timeout"s and then somehow everything stops working. So, in every case i got no succeess. Would be nice if someone could help! tocophonic
I have 2 IDE and 1 SATA HDD in my system.. I installed Mac OS on the SATA HDD because it's the only drive where i got enough space to make a spare partition. The OS X installer formatted and installed without any problem on the SATA HDD. Can anyone confirm this that it's senseless to try installing OSx86 on a SATA HD? Thanks, toco P.S.: cookie, whats your new problem when trying to boot?
