DeMoB
Hi, I know the rules state that file sharing is off limits so I guess that's not what I'm asking for. I've been brought a Quicksilver G4 by a work colleague with the hope that I can fix it >_> The problem with it is that upon trying to boot, the screen outputs some royally messed up garbled things resulting in a kernel panic and the machine powers off. As such it needs a complete wipe and reinstall of the OS. Therein lies a problem due to the fact that they bought it second hand, and it didn't come with the original OS X Cheetah discs it had installed on it. What do you suggest that I do to try and recover this machine? I myself have an Intel power mac with OS X leopard (so have the discs for that), but with it being a intel mac, I'm not so sure the discs would work with a G4. Legal issues aside, would it? Thanks, Dan
