troubles installing kaly 10.5.1 on travelmate 4020

Hi guys!

I have an acer travelmate 4020, well it aint the fastest one and since i cant smell windows any more i'd like to install osx on the lap-top.

i downloaded the kalyway 10.5.1 iso from the net and burned it...

after setting the dvd-drive for booting the loading for the install beginns... it takes some time till the white-screen with the apple appears and it takes a little while till the screen turns light-blue (guess its the background for the install) and then it just stops, no cursor, no loading just the cooler starts now and then....

 

what did go wrong? why is it hanging? any ideas on solving the problem?????

yesterday i accidentially booted from the cd, so i decided to fiddle around and so i did, i typed in -s at the beginning, then this whole code thing went on and in the end i was prompted to make changes if i want to, it said:

 

"if you want to make modification to files...

 

/sbin/fsck -fy

/sbin/mount -uw

 

if you wish to boot the system :

exit"

 

so i tiped in something, just to try and then, as far as i can remember, i tried the /sbin/mount -uw command which genereted some code lines on the screen. after that i tiped in "exit" and for some reason i got into the setup, which looked fine by the way, since i wasnt finished with backup and partitioning of the hd i had to cancel the setup and today after several tries it is the same as usual -> blue-screen

 

so my questions:

what exactly are these two options i can choose between?

which other start prefixes do i have?

what does this "-s" do?

 

and how come it started once but wont start again???
