Lets list which images people need for their specs.

For example:

CPU = Intel Pentium 4 w/ SSE2

Hard Drive = IDE

Graphics = NVidea whatever.

The Image you need is:

Mac OS X 10.4.4/5 osx86 Patched Bootable DVD

As for my case, I have:

CPU = AMD Athlon X2 4200+ w/ SSE3

Hard Drive = SATA

Graphics = ATI Xpress 200 integrated

And the image I need is: ? (the one stated above doesn't support SATA and emulates SSE3)

This way, we will have only one thread dedicated to whichever hardware configurations people have. And perhaps the generous people who make the ISOs will make specific ones for different systems. (I don't need SSE2 support, so there should be an ISO for people that actually have SSE3)

And the usual DISCLAIMER: Downloading Mac OS X is wrong and illegal. Please support Apple and buy a mac is you so desire. Trust me, they are good computers.

You see, that is the problem. It isn't Universal. Its for Intels w/ SSE2. It is labeled wrong.

You've been misinformed.

Under Customize during installation, you can select either the Intel patches or the AMD patches.

So, YES, that DVD is indeed universal.

I'm currently using Mac_OS_X_10.4.4-HOTISO.iso with Maxxuss Patches

Hardware look at signature. Dual Booting Mac OS X 10.4.4 & Windows XP (SP2)
