matneo
Hi, I am trying to install Leopard RETAIL on my Asus Lamborghini VX1. My asus is affected by the problem of core cpu (start with CPUs = 1), I would solve this problem by changing my bios. I have read many post but no one has changed the bios for my VX1 notebook. Someone can tell me how to properly modify my bios? I need a step-by-step tutorial. Thank you and sorry for my English. Volcacius
You don't need to modify yout bios. Simply modify your DSDT (see in tutorial section). Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/138128-how-to-mod-my-bios/#findComment-977458 Share on other sites
matneo
ok I understand I should change my DSDT, but at the beginning when I boot from dvd ORIGINAL Leopard if the boot options do not CPUs = 1, the pc restarts in the loop. I can identify precisely where to look? thank you very much! candykane
you might need to TSC patch like the dell's do. mine will not boot with 2 cores, but after the patch it does work. keep in mind that when you update your kernel you will have to patch again. http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=117558. or replace your kernel with a pre patched one, Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/138128-how-to-mod-my-bios/#findComment-977567 Share on other sites
