I installed iDeneb to my computer a few days ago, and I've been fighting with it ever since.

Somehow it never installed the amd cpu-patches automatically (it only copied it to disk) and I didn't notice until last night that it stops giving the SIGSEGV error 0 when I execute the patch.

So, after i wrote exit to the super user mode prompt it LOOKED like it was going to boot. I got a gray screen and a mouse cursor, and also some hard drive activity.

I waited about an hour, but nothing happened; it looked like it was loading because of the hard drive activity, but after a reboot and after 7 hours loading nothing had happened.

Does anybody have any information about this? If it's caused by some kernel extension or a missing patch, please tell me so I can fix it.

EDIT: Well thanks for helping, already fixed it myself :P apparently i should do everything manually and not leave anything for the installer. Problem was that video card drivers didn't work.
