G.neutron Posted April 2, 2006 Share Posted April 2, 2006 tiger osx ver 10.4.1 intel 865 gbf intel 2.8ghz ht nvidia geforce 6200(8x) xfx 512 mb ram 2 ,ata harddisk with 2 partitions each 20 gb samsung(running xp on 1st primary partition), 120 gb seagate(salve) well i burned the image on a dvd, the installation starts fine but the dialoge where i have to select the drive where to install the os, has no drive listed though i have 2 hard disks with 2 partitions each. do i need to format them? Sabr Posted April 2, 2006 Share Posted April 2, 2006 do i need to format them? Possibly... Go to the apps/utilities at the top, and select Disk Utility. Select the drive you want, and format it as a Mac OS X Extended (Journaled).
