After I year and 2 months, I got OSX86 installed! My problem was that my DVD drive didn't work properly! But now, I have a problem, I dont have internet! I have an ASUS M2N-E with an Nforce 570. I installed the forcedepth-v drivers(I hope I installed the correct one) but Internet still doesnt work! Another problem I have is that I cant change my resolution! I installed the drivers but I only have 1024x768 as an option! Also, I installed all the audio drivers there was but I still don't have sound... I use Leo4all 4.1 AMD Only (10.5.4).

EDIT: I tried to run OpenArena but it doesn't launch! The screen bugs for a minute and then it crashes.

EDIT 2: I am currently editing the Boot.plist to change my resolution so I hope this works!

EDIT 3: The Boot.plist thing didn't change anything... I had chosen 1440x900 for a resolution... Also, Frontrow only shows a black screen.

Motherboard: ASUS M2N-E - Nforce 570 ULTRA

Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+

Graphic Card: Nvidia GeForce 9800GT

Sound: I can't see it in the System Profiler and I don't know the terminal command.

Printer: HP OfficeJet 6100

Wireless Internet: Wireless-G USB Network Adapter

As you can see, I got a wireless adapter in case the wired connection wouldn't work but it doesn't work either.

I tried to install Leo4All4.1 twice. THe first time, I chose the Nvidia drivers, with the forcedeth-v driver for internet. I had also selected the printer drivers. I had selected the AC97 sound drivers. The second time, I installed ALL the network drivers and ALL the sound drivers. I chose NKrush as video drivers.

I got OS X running both times, but I still don't have the audio, the internet, and OpenGL working.

YAY! I updated to 10.5.5 using the patched update for Leo4All and I can choose my resolution now! I tried to launch OA(OpenArena) and now, the screen doesn't bug as it did but the screen stays black for a while and then it goes back to my Desktop. The games closes by itself.

EDIT: I got a step closer! I installed the following driver: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=125569

Vers. 0.62.3Beta

CURRENT STATE:

Built-in Port(1)

Not Connected

Ethernet (en0)

Not Connected

Airport

No IP Address

My Ethernet is yellow!!!! Before installing the driver, I couldn't get the Ethernet to do anything!!!! I'm getting somewhere!

EDIT 2: I rebooted my PC and now, Ethernet is red and it's saying it is not connected!!!

EDIT 3: I plugged in my Wireless-G and rebooted, and Airport says "No IP Address"! What is the problem? How can I solve this? I looked in system Profiler, Clicked on Network, and then I clicked on AirPort, and I get this:

Type: Airport

Hardware: Airport

BSD Device Name: en1

IPv4:

Configuration Method: DHCP

IPv6:

Configuration Method: Automatic

Proxies:

Exception List: *local, 169.254/16

FTP Passive Mode: Yes

Ethernet:

MAC Address: 00:1e:8c:3e:27:13

Media Options:

Media Subtype: Auto Select

So that means that I do have a MAC address! Yay!

EDIT 4: I rebooted this morning to see what would happen and now, Airport is not connected!!!

CURRENT STATE:

Built-in Port(1)

Not Connected

Ethernet (en0)

Not Connected

Airport

Not Connected

Get hold of an Apple USB Ethernet Connector or a RealTek RTL8169 chipset NIC.......
