BeGiNnEr
All Right guys, I'm finally becoming more interested in this. I also posted this over at OSBA, but thought you guys might be able to help me faster... Looking at the available kexts, apparently OS X has drivers for VIA Chipsets and GeForce2 GPUs. I have a second system which is a Celeron 1.7GHz (with SSE and SSE2), 384MB of RAM, VIA P4X266A Chipset, and a 32MB nVidia GeForce2 MX GPU. So if I were to patch the ISO to disable SSE3 using that special windows utility available on the net, will I be able to directly install it on the HDD? I've already tried the Darwin 8.0.1 installer and it detcts the Hard Drive and the IDE channel, so that's not a problem. Any help/hints/ideas would be greatly appreciated. If this in any way is considered "warez talk", please let me know and I'll edit the content.
