Nick14
It's better if you buy a build in PCI Wifi they are cheap and are supported D-Link DWA-547 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/137952-whats-the-best-usb-wifi-stick-you-can-buy-that-will-work-with-a-hackintosh/#findComment-976189 Share on other sites
shavex
LIES!! Get the D-link WUA-1340. It just needs traditional mac drivers and your good to go. davelewis7
I bought one of these for my notebook running 10.5.5 and it works flawlessly. I would highly recommend it! http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...mp;#entry959250 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/137952-whats-the-best-usb-wifi-stick-you-can-buy-that-will-work-with-a-hackintosh/#findComment-977717 Share on other sites
rumplestiltskin
This one works well: Tiger Direct - http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/Se...&CatId=2699 Used it on an MSI Wind U100 running the Stellarola 10.5.4 installation. You need the Realtek driver (8927 if I remember correctly?). Also works great in a MacPro with the same software. $20. "B" & "G", no "N". davelewis7
The one in my link above is Wireless N (Ver. 2.0) and comes w/ Mac drivers on the CD. I'm getting 270Mbps transfer with it as I type this. Pretty good for $35. =) Edit: They're on sale right now for $25!!!!! Damn!!!!!! rumplestiltskin
Yes; looks like a great deal even without the cheaper price. I'll order one and toss it up on the shelf as it will surely come in handy. Thanks for the heads-up.
