astrand
Hi, I'm running VMware Workstation 6.5 on Linux (64-bit Fedora 9). I'd like to run OS X Leopard, and I have an original 10.5 (I think it is 10.5.0) install DVD. I've tried several installation paths without success. Boot-132 starts fine, but after pressing Enter or "-v" plus Enter, I get "Virtual machine kernel stack fault". Most documentation out there says that I should use guestOS=darwin or guestOS=darwin-64, but as far as I can tell, those guestOS types are not available on Workstation for Linux. VMware just exits if I enter those types into the VMX. Any ideas? Should I get a newer install DVD? Do I need to modify the install image?
