DVD Movies No Longer Play!

Hey all, I'm having trouble here with my DVD drive. I've been able to mount and rip DVDs using my SATA drive (plugged into the purple JMicron port on my GA-965P-DS3, rev 3.3). Everything worked, up until now, and I cant mount DVD movies anymore. I can mount data DVDs, like Linux distros and OS X installers, but no movies. I've got AHCI enabled, all SATA drives, and my DVD drive connected to a purple JMicron port.

 

What I've done so far to troubleshoot:

 

1) Plugged DVD drive into orange port, turned off JMicron controller: no dice.

2) Plugged DVD drive into purple port, turned JMicron to IDE in the BIOS: no dice.

 

It's got to be some kind of software issue. Any thoughts folks? My system specs are in my sig, and I'm running 10.5.5, installed from iATKOS 4.1i.
