Xtremeth Posted November 23, 2008 Share Posted November 23, 2008 So... FINALLY, I can see the mac desktop, but then I have a few problems. I have a VGN-SZ583N Laptop. 1. Internal Display DOES NOT WORK? I have to hook up an external to see anything, I have a 8400M GS, I installed Natit, the card should have 256 MB memory but Mac only detects 64MBs. 2. Shutdown/Restart ends up with a blank screen and does it turn off! I have to hit the power button... 3. My Ethernet doesnt work? I have Marvell Yukon 88E80555 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller. I think I installed some marvell stuff when I customized it, but it doesnt work. 4. Webcam doesnt work. 5. I stick a Netgear WG511T wireless PC Card in the slot and it does not work, why? there are no lights blinking 6. My Wireless Mouse that plugs into the USB port works but my USB flash drive doesnt. 7. My sound doesnt work either, i think I have a sigmatel something .... 8. Oh yes, I'm dualbooting XP also, so there is the "time" problem where my XP time is off by hours... The main problems are the ethernet and internal display... I can live with the others. Please help me? Greatly Appreciated!
