dascooby
I'm planning on installing Kalyway 10.5.2 on a 2nd partition, where XP is installed on the first. After buring the .iso and booting the DVD, press F8 and then type -v and press enter, like this guide said. But then it shows a lot of text, and then it says "Still waiting for root device" and it repeats that message every minute or so. What do I do? Heres my specs: -80gb HDD split into 2 partitions. (15gb XP 25gb Left for OSX. The rest is unpartitioned, ready for when I install other OSes later) -40gb HDD. Planning to use this for all OSes. Like a shared HDD thingy. -Intel P4 3.0GHz -ASUS P4S800MX Motherboard -1gb RAM (2x512mb) I've included a screeny of CPU-z. stmiller
This means it cannot find the hard drive. PATA drives seem to work without a hitch. If it is a SATA controller you might have to search for tips for the specific kind that you have on this forum.
