chaosx
Hello everyone, I've read all of the posts regarding installs and I still need a little help! If there's anyone out there that can help me, that would be awesome! I've attempted several installs and the install goes through and restarts, but I'm stuck at the infamous "still waiting for root device" line. I have a Dell Latitude X300: CPU: Intel Pentium M 1.4GHz Chipset: Intel 855GM HDD: 40GB EIDE LAN: I forget... Wireless: Intel 2200 WLAN Audio: Intel AC97 What do I need to do to get 10.5.5 installed correctly? I know there's kexts and everything that I'm supposed to have, but I'm not sure which ones I need. I'm a real noob when it comes to this... Also, which Kernel I should be installing? Basically, just need to know what options I should enable in the installation.
