hecker
- The printer must be first shared from your windows PC. - The canon printer software must be installed on your mac. - You can then open your printer configuration menu in OS X and press the "+" button under the printer list (on the left) to add the new printer. Usually, it will detected automatically by OS X. - You can then configure your printer from within the previously installed canon software. Good luck, hecker Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/137524-canon-pixma-ip4000-need-driver/#findComment-973363 Share on other sites

hecker
i have tryed. No driver was found. Did you install the original Canon IP4000 drivers? Usually the software consists of the driver and several other utilities. Make sure you install everything. You should at least be able to see the printer model in the list when you press "Select a driver to use...".
