I'm running Iatkos 1.0i and loving it.

However I want to install Vista for my games and a few things that I won't work on a Mac.

My question is this: is it easier to just put in a second HDD and install Vista to that, rather than wipe my slate clean with a Vista installation and then put OSX over that?  Is it even possible?

Thank you!

P.S.  These forums have been crucial to me listening to music as I post this!  Also, I'd have searched for my answer, but the search always returns an error for me...

use the disk tools on the osx install dvd or use gparted to shrink your osx partition then use the vista dvd to format the newly opened space to ntfs and install it then once complete boot into vista and use bcd edit to allow dual booting should be a fairly simple operation

that is the easiest way I can think of, if you would prefer to use darwin as your boot loader you will have to search here for the code to enable vista in darwin

that would be easier but then you would have to select your boot os from ur bios rather then from 1 boot loader. just do a partition and use the darwin bootloader

I was thinking of doing the partition on one drive, but I just don't trust Vista to share a drive with OSX...

I do a lot of photography, so I really want all the space for OSX that I can have. RAW files take up a ton of room.

Thanks for the info, guys!
