Sequence
Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum... My friend told me that it was possible to install os x on a x86 system since Apple moved with Intel x86. I've tryed to find information on this forum but I can't really find what I'm looking for.. As many of you, I'm planning to install osx86 on my PC. Here's my configuration: CPU: AMD Athlon 64 3500+ Core Venice MB: Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe Memory: 1Gb Corsair DDR400 Video: ATI Radeon x800XT Platinum Edition (*ASUS model*) I looked at the parts compatibility list and noticed that my motherboard wasn't listed on there, but his brother the A8N-SLI Deluxe is on there. It says that SATA doesn't work but I've heard ppl talking about a SATA patch or something... I think I'm fine with my video card and with my CPU. Now, I'm downloading "MaC.OsX.10.4.5.Universal.Install.DVD(INTEL_AMD_SSE3_SSE2).iso" My questions are: -------------------- Will my SATA drive works properly? Is this the osx86 release I should download? If not.. Which one do you recommend? Is it easy to dualboot XP and OSX if XP is on a NTFS partition and OSX is on a FAT32 partition? And finally, what patch should I install to make it work? If any of you have similar hardware, please tell me that it works =) That would make my day!
